The Second Session of the 14th National People's Congress was held in Beijing from March 4 through 11, 2024. Mr. Allen Yeung, founder and CEO of IGC, went to Beijing to attend the meeting and made proposals.

Mr. Allen Yeung has been promoting the development of Hong Kong’s digital economy. He prepared three main suggestions for this National People's Congress meeting. The first was to strengthen the digital industrial and economic ties between Hong Kong and the Mainland; The second was to leverage Hong Kong's expertise and establishing a complete set of cross-border data governance around the Belt and Road initiative countries; The third was to optimize the cross-border collaboration of innovation and technology resources in the Hetao Shenzhen‑Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co‑operation Zone.
